The building blocks
What this play asks Trayo for
Each run goes through these steps in order, on every account in your ICP.
Watches your whole ICP
Every account in the workspace's ICP, checked again on each run. Not a fixed list.
Finds the buying signal
Reads news, job posts and filings for the event, and rejects the look-alikes that don't count.
Finds the right buyers
Named security and privacy leaders at each account, matched to the roles that own the budget.
Writes to HubSpot
Contacts, a note on why now, and the list or sequence they belong in. Nothing typed by hand.
How it was built
The data behind each screen, and what's faked for the demo.
Built in 30 min · 4 capabilities
An acquisition is the week a company’s data estate grows by a whole second company: another cloud, another SaaS stack, another set of customer records nobody on the security team has classified yet. This play finds that moment across your ICP and turns each deal into a short list of the people who will have to deal with it.
On the run behind these screens, Trayo built a book of 142 ICP accounts and ran one news signal for acquisitions that bring data in, over the last 30 days. It screened 122 candidate articles, matched 31 and kept 20 across 15 accounts. Reading each article against the play’s rules dropped two: GlobalLogic, where the news was an internal rebrand, and Poste Italiane, where the stories were a rating note and a rumour rather than a deal. That left 13 acquisitions, from State Street buying Santander’s Latin America custody arm to Labcorp, Amdocs, JD.com and ServiceNow. Trayo then found 36 security and privacy leaders across them, each with a HubSpot note on the deal and the data it adds.
The production play looks back 7 days and takes 3–5 people per company; this run used 30 days and 3 people so one pass had enough to show, and the app says so. The HubSpot enrolment is a preview, because the demo workspace has no integrations connected. The app was built for a data security company from the prompt on this page.
